416 Snack Bar

Last week we had the pleasure of eating at 416 Snack Bar located at 181 Bathurst St (at Queen). We got there at around 7pm and surprisingly the wait was only a few minutes and the staff were kind enough to take our drink orders in line.

They serve small cutlery-free snack size plates with inspirations drawn from various communities from the '416' region. I grew up in the '905' region of Brampton so butter chicken was not found on the menu.

If you ever make way your way here, must haves would definitely be the scotch egg benny, reuben, midye dolma istanbulu and the papusa al pastor but since the menu changes often, you could loosen up your elastic waistbands like we did and, order almost everything the wait staff recommends! Just note that some items had larger portions than expected but some a LOT smaller (like the order of 1 small lobster roll for $7!).

Overall, all the food tasted great and it's an awesome place to hang out with friends for a few drinks or even to sneak away from furniture shopping at CB2.
