This collaboration will feature a collection of clothes and accessories for both men and women. However, here's the kicker, the collection will also be sold online. For those unable to take long breaks from work to line-up at H&M for past collaborations or even the recent Jason Wu for Target collaboration - what amazing news!
Martin Margiela had previously worked at Jean Paul Gaultier before launching a contemporary line of his own. He's an interesting guy, described as elusive, as he has never appeared on the runway. Further, his website does not feature a biography about himself, only a link to a wikipedia page.
At this point, we can only muse about what this collab can bring. We can probably expect clean lines, fantastic separates, and great tailoring. I am expecting to add some great business pieces to my own closet.
For now, check out some great pieces from the Maison Martin Margiela collection below.
